Day 29
Well, I’m pleased to say Don, my powerleveler from gamepal.com hit the big SIX OH – 60 – yesterday. Over the past 3 or 4 days things moved forward pretty quickly. I have a feeling more of the levelling was by hand and not using the bot, after all it would be more efficient and less likely to get him noticed and a subsequent BAN!
So, I expected to get an email from gamepal soon telling me the level is done, but nothing yet. I logged in just now – about 11am and Don is stilll logged in. I had a quick ride round Winterspring looking for him but could not locate him. I can only assume he is perhaps collecting money to buy me some decent gear (hope) or on the other hand he could be using it to sell on, not sure. I really hope he does not attract more attention that is needed.
The good thing is that it was done inside my free 10 days trial plus 30 days free initial play time. Bad news is it was far longer than the initial 12 days quoted on their website.
When I do get the ‘keys to the account’ back I will not be logging in for a while, maybe as long as two weeks. So it will be interesting to see if we get hit with the big bad ban stick!
I’ll report back on any findings as and when I have them. Thanks for all the comments too guys, keep ‘em coming!
He could be just farming some gold for you if they had a amount of gold they said would be left on the account after the 1-60 is complete. Or farming gold to sell through the website. never know
well i have bad news lol both account got banned yesterday so now im on prosses to get it back . the account . if not ill get refund . but this is the story .PL are alot more risky then befor . so i think ill take my pally and levelit my self . i know i can get 1-60 in about a mounth since i did it onece so lets start to level again and i think ill try it a fun way this time lol
Sorry to hear that Stef. Have you considered using a bot such as WowGlider to help you?
Everything has gone quiet here regarding my power level by gamepal. I may contact them today.
Anything new yet?
Hm, I actually just ordered a 1-60 PL from them a couple days ago. I had no idea the risk of being banned were so high. The question I have for people who have had their account banned is, have you been logging into your account during the PL period? Even just for a minute to check the level or gear? I’m getting the PL done on another account so hopefully the risk isn’t as great. So far, 2 days in and I don’t think anyone’s touched that account. I talked to the customer service and got similar responses, although they strongly suggested that over this period that I should never log in. So maybe they give it a couple days after you signed up for the inactivity to stack up a little so it doesn’t show up that your character is being logged on to from 2 different IP’s that are far away from each other 10 minutes apart.
Good luck Charles! Don’t go near your account now, it’s tempting to login from time to time to see where he is I guess but you can use the armory.wow-europe.com site to keep a close eye on your character now, which is very good.
crap sorry to hear that Stef. i’ve been banned twice. I tried doing hop, skips and jumps with powerleveling with no success. one account i would have the power-levelers lvl 10 at a time only on the weekends. i went from 13 to 50 successfully. on my next jump (from 50-60) i got banned at 52. =/. didn’t get the ban on this quick 30-41 though =). i’ll probably lvl it myself from here on out. what server are u guys on? i’m shattered hand (horde)
well ok i got refund for my gamepal now im on a dispute with wowmine for my other puchase lol lets hope every thing goes well lol
Stef – you got a refund from gamepal.com? Well thats good. I assume you did not get a refund back for the cost of an account but for the money you paid them? Anyway thats good.
yes they refund me the money
